Castlemount Lodge is a large care home set amongst a lovely town in Dover with a medieval historical Castle as its back drop. It’s widely known the start of a person’s recovery as comfortable and safe place to live. Avondalecare promotes the need for a suitable and safe place to stay by offering an extensive living experience in this home. The care home is registered by CQC to house and support 8 residents maximum giving each resident ample space to live and grow. The surround of the home has a large rear car park for visitors with a secluded front entrance for privacy and has a working garden for the residents to make use of as an allotment space. Castlemount Lodge have a dedicated area used for sensory and calming time for residents. This can be used alone or with your key worker.
The staff at Castlemount Lodge are on site 24hrs a day allowing people to live a regular lifestyle with the safety of boundaries and routine in place. The staff work with the local mental health teams, doctors’ surgery, learning disability teams and we offer an open culture for friends, family and advocates to take part in the persons’ care planning as advised by the individual.
